I have learned that sometimes it's almost harder to sit and helplessly watch your loved one suffer than it is to be the inflicted. Megan sat be my side, slept on the plastic sofa in my room, and laughed along with me as we amused ourselves with the peculiarities of an Indian hospital stay. She has done a great job keeping all of you up to date so I won't bore you with more sick-boy stories just remember to give her a big hug the next time you see her.
Saturday Megan and I spent in downtown Bangalore touring Brigade road. This area of old Bangaluru (Bangalore's proper name) is a shopping mecca and it draws tourists of every origin. We went down there, by auto-rickshaw, with great aspirations to acquire some much needed comforts to complete our Indian home. Our results were rather lackluster, however we had a fantastic time exploring another unique section of Bangalore. Megan was also able to purchase my birthday gift Saturday, after making the purchase she told me I must forget what she bought for me and then she hid my gift when we got home. Kissell girls are some of the funniest people you'll ever have the pleasure to meet.
I tell you folks it doesn't matter what language the word is being shared in the message is so much stronger than audible words. Peace and comfort abounded at this Church and everyone was so welcoming. The children were sugary sweet rushing to shake our hands and squeaking, 'Praise God,' with lyrical accents. Big smiles and even bigger eyes it was real special to meet these children and their faithful parents.
It was a wonderful weekend book-ending a difficult week. Thank you all again and may God's peace and blessings be showered upon you.
